THEATRICAL HARDWARE
Center Line Studios specializes in traditional theatrical scenery. We have a dependable crew of experienced craftsmen, most of whom have been in the business for 10+ years. Our wood work is classic theatrical construction which lends itself to the repertory theater and opera. Our specialty woodwork is exemplary and our reputation for ironwork and specialty steel is renowned in the industry. The cars we have built for the stage are unparalleled.

PAINTING
All painting is subcontracted to fully unionized USA paint shops. Center Line enjoys a close relationship with Scenic Arts Studios in the NYC metro area along with Michael Hagen Inc. in upstate NY.

AUTOMATION
Our automation and electrics shop provides on-set practical specialty anamation, computer automation, specialty effects, drive systems, & traveler tracks. We enjoy a close relationship with Fasor Technical Services Inc. who provides us with the latest motion technology and special effects. Our philosophy is to provide state-of-the-art, off-the-shelf, nonproprietary technology. This ensures the customer maintainability and futureability.

Center Line Studios does not involve itself, at this time, in automated fly sets and deck winches. This is traditionally subcontracted to established automation shops i.e. Feller Precision, Scenic Technologies, United Theatrical Services, and Showmotion.
